Course Description
An overview of informational media, from the historical perspective to practical uses, from page to pixels. The course will cover print media, film, television, and computer media applications.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
- relate the historical importance of the various forms of media.
- describe the pertinent categories of media: print, film, video, computers.
- describe the pertinent sub-categories: i.e. print-- journalism, advertising, non-fiction, etc.
