Course Description
A study of 2D and 3D animation using computer modeling and animation software program as the primary tool. This course will emphasize the creation of animated sequences and GIF animation for multimedia applications.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
- Use scanners and digitize images.
- Create animated GIF files.
- Produce graphics for the World Wide Web.
- Create and transform objects in a 3D environment.
- Use composite elements to work with video.
- Apply storyboard and scripting techniques.
- Describe how technology has changed in the making of film, video, and animation.
- Describe the impact of film, video, and animation on society at large.
